STANDARD CONTENT EDITS
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:
“Company” refers to Data Fanatics LLC, the provider of Managed WordPress Hosting services.
“Client” refers to any individual or entity that has subscribed to the Managed WordPress Hosting plan and is entitled to receive standard content edits as outlined in these terms.
As part of our Managed WordPress Hosting plan, we provide up to two (2) standard content edits per month. These edits are intended for minor updates and adjustments that do not require extensive redesigns, development work, or custom coding.
Standard content edits may include the following:
Updating existing text, such as pricing, services, or business hours.
Correcting typographical, grammatical, or formatting issues.
Adding or modifying frequently asked questions (FAQs).
Replacing existing images with new ones (max 5 images per request).
Adding new images to an existing gallery (max 5 images per request).
Updating or replacing team member photos (max 5 images per request).
Clients must specify which images should be uploaded and where they should be placed. Uploading an entire directory of photos without guidance is not permitted.
Clients must ensure images are reasonably sized before submission (maximum width 1920px, file size under 5MB per image).
Unsupported Tasks: Cropping, aspect ratio adjustments, batch renaming, or format conversion are not covered under standard content edits.
If clients need help resizing, cropping, or converting images before uploading, we offer the following paid image prep services:
$25 per batch of 10 images
$50 per batch of 25 images
$100 per batch of 50 images
Clients must request this service separately, and additional turnaround time may apply.
Fixing broken links (as identified by monitoring tools).
Updating or replacing links to external websites.
Adding new links within existing content.
Modifying existing form fields using the Drag & Drop Form Creator (e.g., adding new questions, adjusting labels).
Updating email recipients for form submissions.
Exclusions: Creating new forms, integrating third-party services, or setting up automation workflows.
Publishing a blog post or news update when content is provided by the client.
Minor formatting adjustments for readability.
Minor updates to SEO metadata (title tags, meta descriptions) using the Professional SEO Extension.
Fixing broken links or updating URLs when necessary.
Exclusions: Advanced SEO strategy, keyword research, site audits, or backlink management.
Minor content edits on Elementor pages (text updates, image swaps, simple layout tweaks).
Exclusions: Full page redesigns, template modifications, or advanced custom styling.
The following requests are not covered under standard content edits:
Creation of new pages or major sections.
Custom design work or advanced styling modifications.
Plugin installation, removal, or reconfiguration.
Custom coding, including CSS, JavaScript, or PHP modifications.
Email marketing campaign setup or automation (managed under the Email Marketing Extension).
Performance and security adjustments (DDoS Protection, Malware Scanning, CDN settings, etc.).
Content edit requests must be submitted via email or through our designated support system.
Requests must include detailed instructions specifying exactly what changes are needed and where.
Requests are typically processed within 2-3 business days, subject to workload and complexity.
If a request exceeds the scope of standard content edits, a quote will be provided for additional work.
Unused content edits do not roll over to the following month.
Additional edits beyond the allotted two (2) per month may be requested at an additional charge.
If an edit request falls outside the scope of standard content edits, we will provide an estimate for additional services. Clients may choose to proceed with the additional work at the quoted rate.
Clients must provide clear and accurate instructions for content edits, specifying exactly what changes are needed and where they should be made.
Any delays caused by incomplete or unclear requests may extend the processing time.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that any provided content (images, text, videos, etc.) does not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
The Company is not responsible for errors, downtime, or unintended site changes caused by client-provided content, third-party integrations, or external service issues beyond our control.
While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that edits will not impact site performance, SEO rankings, or third-party tools.
Clients are responsible for reviewing edits before and after implementation.
Each content edit request includes one round of minor revisions.
Additional revisions beyond the first may count as a separate edit request.
The Company reserves the right to decline any content edit request that falls outside the scope of standard content edits.
If a request requires extensive customization, coding, or redesigns, we will provide a separate quote for the additional work.
Standard content edits are a benefit of our Managed WordPress Hosting plan.
If a client cancels their hosting plan, unused content edits do not roll over or qualify for refunds.
To cancel the service, written notice must be provided at least 30 days before the next billing cycle.
The Company reserves the right to update these terms and conditions as needed. Clients will be notified of any significant changes affecting their service.
